"Keep on keeping on"...

is one of the things my Grandad has been teaching me of late. I feel bad because it's been longer than it should since I've last seen him. But even though the times I see him are seemingly further and further apart he has already parted enough wisdom and words of guidance to keep me discovering and pondering my entire lifetime. Working night shift gives me time on my off ... umm.. nights to think about some of the things he has taught me. You know I never really noticed this phrase until my mother pointed it out to me... about a year or more ago. Keep on keeping on.... probably a lesson I will have to remind myself of often because I find that as christians we are constantly beseiged by "The Enemy" and it makes our attempt to live for those things which are pure, just, lovely, holy, and of good report hard. But that does not lessen our responsibility to continue that attempt. I use that word "attempt" because we are going to fail. If we never failed we'd be running for the office of Jesus [pardon the crude humor]. But because we do fail, the epicenter we choose to focus-in on in our own lives should not be those failures... but rather our continual pursuit of those treasures buried in God's Biblical field.

Let your heart be in "keeping on" the pursuit of God's instruction. For where your heart is, there your treasure shall be also!

Keep on keeping on, my friends!!!
